The federal government is so concerned about texting and driving that they have launched a new website – http://www.distraction.gov. Here you will find research, statistics, and Take the Pledge materials for teens, educators, employers, and community groups. As a reminder in Massachusetts, there is a ban on all cell phone use (handheld and hands-free) for bus drivers; ban on cell phone use handheld and hands-free for novice drivers; and ban on texting for all drivers.
